Ancient Warriors is an international organization founded on November 12th 2000 with the purpose of providing a helpful and prosperous environment for video gamers with similar interests who share a desire for teamwork, dedication, respect and sportsmanship.  AW was originally a strictly Quake 2 clan that was founded on Mplayer. 

Ancient Warriors are not made from the same mold as the stereotypical gaming clan member. AW is comprised of people who hold good personal qualities in high regard.

We are not about drama, trash talking or squabbling amongst ourselves. We tend to take care of those types of situations immediately and effectively.

AW is about family, love of the game and a desire to promote an atmosphere which supports sportsmanship, personal relationships and most importantly; Fun! Considered an extended family, AW members are always ready to help one another and offer assistance in any way they can.

It is with these principles in mind and those of our creed along with an objective clan leadership that our principles remain in check and a desired atmosphere for all members remains in place.

AW members play a variety of games and the list of games we play is constantly changing. Just because we do not have a forum dedicated to a particular game does not mean that we have no players interested in that game!

We also own our own voice/chat server. You can find the information for Ventrilo on our forums. It is free to use for everyone, including you.

The fact that we have been around for this long and have members that have been with us since the creation of Ancient Warriors on MPlayer is a testament to our longevity, creativity and experience. To be a member of AW you must display a certain measure of maturity. We are not about having gaming skills. We would much rather have the mature people than the gamer that is always out to win. Our ranking system is based on participation not performance.

A clan compromised of egos cannot survive.
